Wedding venue with a history | Cellar 52, St. Jacobs, Ontario

On a beautiful summer day in St. Jacobs, Ontario Kayla and Kevin, surrounded by their closest family and friends, got married. The bride and groom choose a landmark location for their venue – Cellar 52 – and it was an absolutely gorgeous location for their big day.

Although it has been fully renovated, Cellar 52 was originally built in 1852 and it is a historic landmark in the village of St. Jacobs. This vintage chic location is the perfect place for anyone looking for an intimate wedding gathering that can host your entire day – from ceremony to reception, and even your final send-off.

At this wedding, Matt was helping me as a second photographer, which allowed me to spend a lot of time with girls, while he was having a blast with guys.

Getting ready | Cellar 52

Kayla started the day off by getting ready with her bridesmaids – relaxing and enjoying the morning together. It is not that easy to find a Waterloo and St.Jacobs wedding venue, that provides a nice and bright bridal suite for both bride and groom.

Her closest friends and family were so excited to be included in the day and you can tell how much they loved being part of Kayla and Kevin’s wedding. Kayla chose a beautiful trumpet-style gown, and with her hair half up with soft, sweeping curls she was absolutely stunning. Her bridesmaids each had a different shade of purple, from a deep rich royal purple to a much light lavender.

While Kayla was getting ready, Kevin could be found spending time with his groomsmen who were wearing grey suits with burgundy ties. The suits and ties went so well with the dresses, and the entire wedding party was perfectly dressed for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony.

Gorgeous riverside wedding ceremony | Conestogo River, St. Jacobs

Cellar 52 offers everything you could want for a wedding – including an outdoor space right by the water to have your ceremony. Kayla and Kevin took advantage of this gorgeous view and had chairs set up for their guests with a generous amount of shade so their friends and family could comfortably enjoy their ceremony.

With a beautifully decorated circular wooden altar behind them, they exchanged their personalized vows and were officially married. After the ceremony, I could take advantage of this fantastic space to capture photographs of Kayla and Kevin with their guests.

Wedding Photoshoot | Conestogo River, St. Jacobs & Cellar 52

Since it was such a beautiful day, we stayed outside for most of these pictures and they ended up being candid pictures without me having to really pose the guests. The water on the property was the perfect backdrop for their pictures, too.

Cocktails | Cellar 52, St. Jacobs

During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the indoor-outdoor patio at Cellar 52 with couches and chairs to relax in or they could stand around a high-top table to catch up with other guests. They also had a giant-sized game of Jenga available, which the children enjoyed playing until dinner time.

Wedding Reception | Cellar 52, St. Jacobs

Along with delicious food and an intimate setting for their reception, Cellar 52 also has some unique and beautiful options for photography. This allowed Kayla and Kevin to get some pictures that will last a lifetime for them, all while never leaving the location of their guests.

Cellar 52 offers complete wedding packages, and that means anyone who has their wedding here will not have to arrange for different locations for ceremony, pictures and reception – it’s an all-in-one venue that does not disappoint. Consider Cellar 52 in St. Jacobs for your wedding venue.
