Hi, we’re Natalia and Matt, a photography and videography duo and preferred vendors at Three Feathers Terrace. Our familiarity with the venue allows us to plan portraits efficiently, adjust quickly to weather changes, and work seamlessly with the venue team. For our couples, that translates into a relaxed, guided experience and photos that feel effortless and natural.

Three Feathers Terrace is located in Innisfil, Ontario, about 30 minutes from Barrie and just over an hour from Toronto. Choosing the right venue is one of the most important decisions you’ll make during wedding planning. It sets the tone for your day and shapes how it feels, flows, and photographs. Our goal with this guide is to share our firsthand experience so you can make a confident, informed decision.

Three Feathers Terrace can accommodate up to 300 guests for a wedding reception.
There is a minimum guest count requirement of 100 guests for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings between May and October. This is important to keep in mind early in your planning, especially if you’re considering a more intimate celebration during peak season.

Three Feathers Terrace is a family-owned venue run by two sisters, Vicky and Tanya, who together bring over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry. That family-oriented approach shows in every detail.
From a vendor perspective, the layout is incredibly well-thought-out. Weddings flow naturally here, without awkward transitions or logistical hurdles. The space is generous and never feels cramped, even with larger guest counts. From a couple’s perspective, everything feels intentional, calm, and well-cared-for.
The venue looks beautiful in every season. We’ve photographed lush summer weddings, golden fall celebrations, and cozy winter days, and the space adapts beautifully each time.
You’ll often see Vicky on-site from early in the morning on wedding days, guiding vendors, greeting family members, and quietly making sure everything runs smoothly.
One thing that consistently stands out at Three Feathers Terrace is the team. This is not a venue staffed by rotating seasonal employees. The coordinators are experienced, familiar faces who genuinely care about the couples and vendors they work with.
They work closely with you and your vendor team to ensure the day is well paced, stress free, and thoughtfully executed. That level of coordination makes a huge difference in how relaxed your wedding feels.
Aside from a dedicated groom’s suite, Three Feathers Terrace truly has almost everything you need on-site.
There are multiple ceremony location options, both indoor and outdoor. The grounds offer endless beautiful photo spots. Cocktail hour can take place indoors or on the patio, and the main reception space comfortably accommodates up to 300 guests.
Having everything in one location makes timelines smoother and keeps your day feeling unhurried.
The weather is one of the biggest concerns couples have when planning an outdoor wedding. At Three Feathers Terrace, you don’t need to panic about rain, wind, or extreme temperatures.
The venue offers a covered outdoor area, allowing you to stay outside even if the weather shifts. If conditions aren’t ideal, there are several beautiful indoor spaces that photograph incredibly well and don’t feel like a compromise.
Three Feathers Terrace offers an in-house décor package that includes stunning ceremony backdrops, head table draping, a variety of table linens, card boxes, table numbers, favour setup, place cards, and more.
For couples who want a cohesive look without coordinating multiple décor vendors, this is a huge advantage. They also offer cold sparkler effects, which add a fun visual moment during receptions.

From a wedding photographer’s perspective, this venue offers a wide range of backdrops:
This variety allows us to create a full wedding gallery that feels dynamic and intentional, without ever needing to leave the property.
The outdoor grounds are vast and beautifully maintained, offering countless photo locations throughout the day. One of our favourite spots is just outside the venue along the path leading toward the bridal suite. The light there is soft and flattering, and the large windows nearby reflect the surrounding trees, creating a very natural, layered look in photos.
Couples who love a more rustic, nature-inspired feel are always drawn to the forested area. There is a small pond with a deck that’s perfect for quiet, intimate portraits. It’s one of the most serene corners of the property and works beautifully at any time of day.
Many photos also take place in front of the large windows under the overhanging roof. This area is a favourite during hot summer days or unpredictable weather. It provides shade from the sun and shelter from rain while still offering beautiful natural light.
The indoor ceremony space is often used for portraits earlier in the day if it’s too cold or windy outside. It has plenty of natural light and clean, white walls, making it an ideal backdrop for timeless, minimalistic photos.
The outdoor ceremony location is especially meaningful. Its circular design symbolizes eternal love, unity, and an unbroken bond, with no beginning or end. It’s a beautiful setting that feels intentional and symbolic, and it photographs incredibly well from every angle.

If you’re traveling from Toronto or the GTA, especially on a Friday or Saturday, plan extra time. You’ll often be sharing the road with cottage traffic heading north. We usually plan at least one additional hour for travel.
The upside is that the venue grounds are so beautiful that arriving early is never a problem. Guests can relax and enjoy the space.
Many of our couples choose to arrange a shuttle for their guests, particularly when most guests are coming from Toronto. It makes the day easier, safer, and encourages guests to fully enjoy the celebration.
Sunset at Three Feathers Terrace is always worth stepping away for. The light filtering through the trees creates soft, romantic images that are some of our favourites from every wedding here.
This venue is ideal for couples who love nature, value a calm and organized experience, and want to feel genuinely supported throughout their day. If you want a wedding that feels thoughtful, seamless, and beautifully paced without worrying about logistics, this venue is an excellent choice.
