As a local Burlington wedding photographer and videographer (husband and wife team!) who live literally three minutes away from The Pearle Hotel & Spa, we feel right at home there. We’ve photographed many beautiful Pearle Hotel weddings – in the summer heat and in the winter cold.
We believe your wedding photos and videos should feel like you. Selecting a great wedding venue is the first step to bringing your vision to life, and we want to share all our experience with you so you can make a confident choice.
Pearle Hotel & Spa is nestled downtown Burlington, right by the water. It almost feels like a destination wedding – with cute little shops and cafés nearby, waterfront trails, and a relaxed, upscale vibe.
This space can accommodate up to 300 people for your wedding ceremony. What we love about Laurentide as photographers is how full of natural light it is – with neutral, delicate pastel tones that work perfectly for timeless photos.
You don’t even need much decoration here, but every styling choice we’ve seen couples bring in has looked fantastic.
The Edgewater can host up to 350 guests for seated dinner. No matter how large the weddings we’ve photographed there, it never feels cramped. The open layout makes it easy for guests and vendors to move around, and it’s flexible for table arrangements.
The Edgewater features 16-foot ceilings and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Ontario – not many wedding venues offer that indoor-outdoor feel with such clear waterfront views.
We also love the custom-made ceiling installation, inspired by lupin flowers, crafted from glass and delicate metal rods. It’s a piece of art by itself!
Northshore can accommodate up to 160 guests for a seated dinner. It has slightly lower 14-foot ceilings but feels very intimate. We love this room especially after sunset – you can see downtown Burlington lights and the Skyway Bridge beautifully lit up.
Planning a micro-wedding or rehearsal dinner? Isabelle offers a private space for up to 32 guests. It’s cozy, modern, and feels very exclusive.
You can plan your entire wedding day at Pearle without worrying about changing locations, packing, unpacking, or getting stuck in traffic.
Unlike many venues, Pearle offers beautiful, spacious suites for both the bride and the groom.
Insider tip: We recommend booking the Presidential Suite. It has a separate living room, bedroom, and terrace, which gives you flexibility during morning preparations.
You can have your bridal party get ready in one room, while keeping the other space neat and photo-ready for robe shots and getting dressed.
(Also, avoid rooms with two beds – they get cluttered fast!)
We’ve had nothing but amazing experiences working with the Pearle team. Their venue coordinators are more hands-on than most – often helping during your photoshoot, carrying bouquets, fluffing dresses, and offering water.
Another great thing: Pearle only hosts two weddings per day, so your coordinator won’t be stretched thin like at some other venues. (We’ve seen venues where one person runs five weddings at once – trust us, it shows.)
Shannon and the Pearle team respond quickly – usually within a few hours – and they truly go above and beyond for their couples.
We could talk about this for a long time!
The waterfront is gorgeous in spring, summer, and especially fall, but don’t worry if you’re planning a winter wedding – we’re happy to brave the chill with you! (Just bring a bridal jacket to keep warm.)
The courtyard and outdoor colonnade are perfect on sunny or windy days, offering some shade and timeless architecture for your photos.
You can’t miss a few shots on the indoor staircase – it’s iconic, especially if we have rain or colder weather.
Believe it or not, your ceremony and reception rooms also make perfect backdrops for first looks, bridal party photos, and family portraits – just make sure the décor is set up before your session.
The cocktail hour area at Edgewater has a clean, neutral wall we love using for formal family pictures.
If you love a European vibe, we recommend getting a photography permit for Village Square – it’s just a short walk and features charming brick streets and a London-style red telephone booth.
Your getting-ready suite is another great spot for candid moments – and if you’re feeling fun, elevator shots are always an option!
If you dream of a full-service, waterfront venue with everything in one place – beautiful getting-ready suites, a ceremony space filled with natural light, and an elegant modern reception overlooking Lake Ontario – The Pearle Hotel might be perfect for you.
It’s ideal for couples who want to maximize time with their guests and minimize wedding-day logistics.
If you’re paying for valet parking, let your guests know in advance. Street parking around Pearle can get expensive and busy during nice weather. Valet service costs around $25 per car – totally worth it for peace of mind.
We often have stunning pink and purple sunsets over Burlington’s lakefront. Even if it’s cloudy, we can capture some intimate, beautifully lit portraits around sunset time – it’s one of our favorite parts of the day.
If you’re hosting your reception in Northshore, your cocktail hour will be held separately, giving your photographer time to capture untouched décor shots.
But if you’re in Edgewater, your guests will move directly into the room after the ceremony – so if editorial-style room photos are important to you, talk to your photographer about taking them earlier.
The cost of hosting a wedding at The Pearle Hotel & Spa depends on the day of the week, the season, and your guest count.
These figures are estimates – for the most accurate and updated pricing, we always recommend contacting the venue directly.
