FAQ
How do we reserve our date?
Along with your custom proposal, you’ll receive a contract to review and sign online. You’re welcome to ask questions or request changes before signing. A 30% retainer is required to secure your date and can be paid by e-transfer, credit card, or cash. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, your wedding date is officially booked.
How many images are included?
Expect to receive approximately 50–70 edited images per hour. Please note that RAW files are not provided under any circumstances. We only remove duplicates and images that are technically defective, and never exclude correctly captured photos, so you can be confident you won’t miss any moments we documented.
Do you have experience with interracial and multicultural weddings?
During 8 years of professionally documenting weddings in the most multicultural city in the world, we have seen it all. We have worked on traditional weddings for couples from all backgrounds, photographing traditions from all over the world.
Do you charge a travel fee?
If your event is within a 25km radius of Burlington, Ontario, we will not charge a travel fee. Beyond that, any mileage over 25 km from Burlington is billed at $1/km.
CAN WE BOOK NOW AND UPGRADE TO A HIGHER PACKAGE LATER ON?
Yes. Many couples book us up to two years in advance, and we understand that plans evolve. You can upgrade your package at any time to better suit your needs. Add-ons can be selected up to one month before your wedding, and albums or other printed products can be chosen after the wedding.
Do you help with the wedding timeline?
Absolutely. We'll work with you and your planner (or designated coordinator) to plan the photography portions of your day, ensuring there's enough time for portraits, family photos, and all the moments that matter most.
Our goal is to create an efficient photography schedule that allows us to capture exceptional images while fitting seamlessly into your wedding day. While we're always happy to communicate with your vendor team, overall wedding coordination and timeline management remain the responsibility of your planner or designated coordinator.
When can we expect our wedding photos and films?
You will receive 20+ sneak peek photos within a couple of days of your wedding. The full gallery will be ready in 6 weeks. You will receive your full video package within 14 weeks.
How are the photos and films delivered?
We provide every couple with a password-protected gallery, where you and your family will be able to download your high-resolution, print ready, unwatermarked photos. Your films will be delivered via a cloud storage link, where you can download mp4 files as well as a Vimeo link for easy sharing with your family and friends.
Do you offer RAW photos or footage?
We do not offer RAW photography files. Raw video footage can be purchased for an additional fee of $300. Please note that RAW video files are not color and audio corrected. You can find a comparison in our Wedding Film Guide.
Do you offer printed albums?
Yes, we do! Contact us for more details and pricing. We also use a gallery platform, where you can easily compose and order an album or any other photography products like prints directly from the manufacturer yourself. You can see our albums here.
Is there a limit for shooting locations during a wedding day?
No, there is no limit for locations during your wedding day
Do you photoshop your photos?
Our style is natural, which means we do not alter your look. We remove temporary imperfections like blemishes or bruises. We also remove distracting objects from the frame like trash cans or hanging cables, but we won’t change the color of your hair or whiten your teeth.
What is your policy regarding copyrights for the wedding photos and videos?
We retain the copyright to the photos and videos but grant you the personal usage rights to print, share, and distribute them for non-commercial purposes. As posting our photo by your other Vendor constitutes commercial use, please direct them to us, we’ll be happy to help, share our work and create business relationships!
Do you offer destination weddings?
Yes, we do! Contact us, and we will be happy to document your day in the destination of your dreams.
Do you offer additional photographers or videographers in your collections?
Every collection we offer has an option to add 2nd and 3rd photographers and videographers for an additional fee.
Can I choose music for my wedding film?
Our films are story-driven, and we believe that music should complement your vows, speeches, and soundbites from the day, much like a score in a feature film. It sets the mood and energy for each part. We always select music with your story and its enhancement in mind. Using copyrighted music in a paid project is illegal, so we license all our tracks through Music Bed. We're happy to consider any suggestions from you!
Do you offer drone footage?
Yes, we do offer drone footage. Please note that it is subject to local laws and weather conditions, so we can’t fly near airports and helipads.
What camera gear do you use?
For photography, we use mirrorless Nikon Z series full-frame cameras along with native Nikkor Z lenses. For wedding films, we use Netflix-certified Sony Cameras along with Sony, Zeiss, and Sigma lenses.
How do you record audio?
We use lavalier mics for both bride and groom, as well as backup recorders connected to the venue sound system and high-end on-camera microphones to ensure clean and crisp audio for your film.
Can we request specific shots or styles for our wedding photos and videos?
Absolutely! We encourage you to share your preferences and vision with us, and we'll work closely with you to accommodate your requests.
What backup equipment do you have on hand in case of technical issues?
We always carry backup cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to ensure uninterrupted coverage of your wedding day.
What measures do you take to protect our photos and videos from loss or damage?
All of our cameras record to dual memory card slots for redundancy. After the wedding, we back up the photos and footage on cloud storage and multiple drives in multiple physical locations. Some of them are fireproof too!
