Some wedding days feel larger than life, not because of where they take place, but because of how deeply personal they are.
Sarah and Bartosz chose to exchange their vows on top of Rainbow Mountain in Whistler, surrounded by snow-covered peaks and endless alpine views. Reaching the ceremony location required a helicopter flight into the backcountry, careful planning, and a tightly coordinated timeline. Once we landed on the mountain, we had just one hour to capture portraits, document their ceremony, and create the photos, films, and social content that would tell the story of their day.
What stood out most wasn’t the scenery, though it was breathtaking. It was the way they approached the day. Every decision felt intentional. Every moment felt unhurried. Despite the logistics, the day never felt rushed. They created space to be fully present with each other, and that sense of calm carried through the entire experience.

For us, this was one of the most memorable wedding days we have ever documented. It was our first time flying in a helicopter, our first time photographing and filming a wedding on a mountaintop like this, and, as it turns out, a good reminder that neither of us is afraid of heights after all. Even after years of documenting weddings, there were moments when we had to pause, look around, and take it all in ourselves.
Their vows spoke about adventure, growth, faith, and the life they have built together over the past six years. Standing above the clouds, surrounded by the mountains they love so much, it felt less like a wedding day and more like a reflection of who they are as a couple.
This collection brings together the photographs, wedding film, and social media edit from their day on Rainbow Mountain – a celebration of adventure, intention, and two people creating a wedding experience that felt completely their own.
