Alex & Keeyan
Alex and Keeyan wanted their wedding photos to feel natural, candid, and bright, focused on real moments rather than stiff or overly posed imagery. Their The Quay wedding in Toronto was a perfect reflection of that vision, modern, relaxed, and quietly beautiful, with a documentary approach guided just enough to keep everything flowing with ease.

The Quay is a truly distinctive Toronto wedding venue, defined by its clean architecture, minimalist design, and thoughtful use of space. Soft concrete textures, expansive glass, and neutral tones create a modern backdrop that feels refined without ever feeling cold. White florals and subtle greenery complemented the space beautifully, keeping the overall palette light, airy, and timeless.
Their ceremony took place on The Quay’s terrace, a space that feels like a piece of art in itself. Surrounded by architectural lines, trees, and layered greenery, the terrace offered sweeping city views while still feeling secluded and private, an unexpected contrast that made the moment feel intimate despite its urban setting. We took many of their portraits there as well, using the greenery and clean lines to create images that feel both modern and cozy, balancing structure with softness.
Cocktail hour unfolded outdoors on the terrace, where guests mingled freely, gathered at the bar, and enjoyed the open air as the city moved quietly beyond the walls. The energy remained relaxed and social, with moments unfolding naturally as conversations flowed.
The reception was held inside at The Gala Space, where the clean, contemporary interior allowed the celebration to shift seamlessly into the evening. As the sun set, we stepped back outside for portraits against the glow of city lights, capturing a softer, more cinematic side of the day. Inside, a live band brought the room to life, filling the space with movement, music, and energy that carried the celebration late into the night.
Throughout the day, our approach balanced observation with gentle guidance, allowing Alex and Keeyan to stay present while ensuring their images felt natural, flattering, and true to how the day actually felt. The result is a The Quay wedding gallery that reflects modern design, real connection, and an effortless sense of joy.
